Children’s Privacy Notice 
Children under 16 in the EU and under 13 in the US and UK can play our “Match3 Heroes:The Gold Rush” app. We have taken extra care to protect your privacy when playing this app. We want you to have fun but in safe way.

Information we collect to run our “Match3 Heroes:The Gold Rush” is not shared with anyone else. 

We do collect some information to help run this app but this information does not identify you. For example, if the game has been completed or not. This is not personal information.

The PRIVO GDPRkids™ Privacy Assured Program supports child directed services known as Information Society Services under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to comply with the requirements of this legislation. It impacts any child directed service in an EU Member State and any service globally that collects and or processes the personal data of children and minors. There is no safe harbor for the GDPR to date, but to ensure this company's services meet the program requirements, we conduct regular monitoring and consulting.

 1. Information We Collect 
We do not collect any personal information from users under the age of 16 in the EU or under the age of 13 in the UK and US in our app “Match3 Heroes:The Gold Rush”. We collect personal information about you in the following ways:
We ask users to provide a date of birth and determine your country from the device SIM in order to provide you with an appropriate experience. This information is not stored.
If you contact us with a support request, feedback or similar we will collect your email address, device and OS type in order to respond to your inquiry. Once we have replied we will delete your email and any personal information that you may have included in your request. 
We also passively collect non-personal data about your device and your use of the app in order to provide you with the best experience possible, gain insights about your use of the app and prevent unauthorized/fraudulent practices. 
If you are at or above the age of consent in your respective jurisdiction, we collect the following additional information:
We invite you to sign in to the app with your Google, Facebook or Apple ID to unlock features associated with those accounts. If you do not wish to login using one of these methods, you can create a guest login and provide a username.
We automatically collect some information about your device and how you use the app including an install referrer and Advertising ID. This is shared with service providers used in the app. For more information on the use of service providers, please see section 7 below. 
We collect a push token and identifier to deliver remote push notifications. 

 

Some of our apps also collect the following information from our users: 
Information Registered by Users
To allow users to use the Service as smoothly as possible, and to promote effortless communication between users, users may be asked to register additional details such as profile information, character names, etc. Any profile information and character names displayed on the service, and any other information (text, pictures, video, etc.) registered or posted by users themselves to show other users, will be viewable to other users. Such submissions are optional, but the Service, in whole or in part, may be inaccessible when such information is not submitted. 
Promotional EventsThere may be occasions where users will be asked to provide details such as their name, address, phone number, email address, gender, and date of birth etc., for the purposes of surveys, draws as well as other promotional events, where the Company requires these details to courier prizes, and for the delivery of purchased products, etc., to the users. 


4. Purpose of UseThe Company shall use the acquired personal information for the following purposes listed below:
 

・to offer an undisturbed and smooth Service to users
・to prevent any unauthorized/fraudulent use of the Service

・to aggregate statistical data regarding the Service
・to conduct research and analysis aimed at reviewing and improving Services
・to enable the Company to deal effectively with user inquiries
・to provide information regarding the Service etc., as well as advertising information from our business partners

・to provide new future developments regarding the Service
・to draw winners for promotional events, courier gifts to those winners, and to deliver purchased products, etc.
・to perform identity checks when a user makes an inquiry etc.
・to notify users of any other important information regarding the Service and to contact users where necessary 


5. Provision of Information
The Company will never provide user information to any third parties other than those listed without the user`s consent, unless the Company is obliged and/or permitted to do so under applicable laws. 


6. Information Delegation
The Company may entrust, to the extent the Company considers necessary to achieve the intended purpose concerning the use of the Service, the handling of personal information collected from users, in whole or in part, to a trustee. In such circumstances, the Company will adequately assess the eligibility of the trustee, impose a confidentiality agreement upon the trustee, and establish an appropriate information administration system. 


7. Shared Use of Information
The Company may share the user's personal information with a business partner, when a business partner's cooperation is needed in order to keep providing the Service to the user.

In such circumstances, the Company will inform the user regarding the purpose of information sharing, the name of the business partner and information manager, as well as the type of shared information involved before sharing the user's personal information with such a business partner. 


8. Third Party Service Providers
LINE uses third party advertising agencies to place advertisements on the Internet or in other media. To measure the effectiveness of the advertisements to determine how much to pay to the advertising agencies, we use third party service providers within the Apps. We may also install third-parties within the Apps in order to help us understand how the Service is used. A list of the third party service providers used in these apps can be viewed here
 

We use the following service providers in our “Match3 Heroes:The Gold Rush” app in relation to users at or above the age of consent:
Ad providers: Unity, Facebook and Google Ad Mob
Attribution and Marketing services: Adjust

9. User Rights
Users may, through the procedures determined by the Company, send the Company a request for the disclosure of personal information. The Company, in turn shall disclose such information except under the following conditions: 

・when the disclosure is likely to harm the life, body, property or other rights or interests of the user or any other third party
・when the disclosure is likely to severely interfere with the Company's proper operation
・when disclosure itself would constitute a violation of laws and/or regulations
・when the Company is unable to verify the user’s ownership of the personal information requested for disclosure.
 

After the disclosure, users may, through the procedures determined by the Company, send the Company a request to correct, add or delete the user's personal information, if the users find personal information registered with the Company to be incorrect. Under such circumstances, the Company shall swiftly investigate the request to achieve the desired user intention and correct, add or delete the personal information on the basis of the Company's findings. 
 

The users can choose freely whether or not they will provide the Company with their personal information, however the users may be unable to use a part of the Service until they have provided the Company with the necessary information.


10. A Note to EU Citizens 
LINE Corporation, complies with the rights given to EU Citizens under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These rights are as follows:
the right to have your personal information updated to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate; 
the right to withdraw your consent to any processing that is currently being done under your consent;
the right to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
right to request that we delete personal information in certain circumstances;
the right to have us transfer to another controller the personal information that you have provided us with;
the right to request a restriction on the processing of your data in some limited circumstances;
right to request that we stop processing your data.
