LINE Shopping Terms and Conditions of Use
1. LINE Shopping service
LINE provides the Service as a part of LINE@ service and as places for the User to purchase new and used products from sellers who are independent of LINE (“Seller(s)”). When the User makes a purchase through the Service, the User is purchasing products from the Seller, not from LINE. The User agrees that LINE is not an agent for any User or Seller, and has no authority to act on a User’s or on the Seller’s behalf.
2. Conditions of Purchase.
To purchase any products or services on the Service, the User shall:
(a) obtain the User’s statutory agent’s consent to purchase products if the User is under age;
(b) be a resident in the same country where the Seller exists;
(c) understand and agree the conditions accurately as for any products or services that a User will purchase; and
(d) hereby represent and warrant that the User’s use of the Service will comply with applicable laws, ordinances and regulations.
3-1. Delivery of the products that the User purchases in the Service are made by the Seller and not LINE. A User agrees that LINE has no obligation to deliver to the User any products. The User agrees that LINE may provide to the Seller and/or deliverers the User’s name, delivery address, telephone number and/or the receivers of the products’ name, delivery address and telephone number for delivery of the products. The User agrees to pay the delivery fees in full for any products that the User purchases if the Seller does not bear the delivery fees.
3-2. The User will not assign any company for delivery of the products in the Service and shall choose delivery means designated by the Seller.
4-1. LINE will not provide payment system service. LINE shall bear no responsibility for all payments in the Service.
4-2. The User agrees to bear all costs incurred in connection with User’s purchases (including but not limited to communication costs, applicable taxes and delivery fees, if any).
5. Changing or Cancelling Orders
Once the User has placed an order for any product in the Service, the Seller will be handling all aspects of the order process. LINE will not change or cancel any order made by the User, including any change to delivery means or billing information. The User will need to contact the Seller for any changes or cancellations that the User desires to make to its order. The User may send messages to the Seller by using LINE messenger service; provided, however, that it is not guaranteed that the Seller will respond to User’s messages.
6. Returns of Products
The User may not return any products the User purchases in the Service to LINE. The User shall contact the Seller regarding any product returns that the User desires to make. The User may send messages to the Seller by using LINE messenger service; provided, however, that it is not guaranteed that the Seller will respond to User’s messages.
8. Dispute Resolution Steps, Claim Process.
If the User does not receive product from the Seller or the User has received a product that is defective, damaged, or that does not match the description contained in the Service, the User shall contact the Seller directly to attempt to resolve the problem. The User may send messages to the Seller by using LINE messenger service; provided, however, that it is not guaranteed that Seller will respond to User’s messages. LINE will not mediate, disputes, or resolve the matter on User’s or Seller’s behalf.
9. Prohibited Acts
If LINE determines that any of the following items is applicable to the User directly or indirectly, LINE may immediately suspend or terminate the provision of the service or its LINE account.
(b) Activities that interfere with LINE’s operation of LINE’s services or with the use of LINE services by other users.
(c) Other activities that are deemed by LINE to be inappropriate.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties.
THE SERVICES, DOWNLOADS, SOFTWARE, DATA, AND INFORMATION ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, LINE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND/OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO ANY MATTER WHATSOEVER RELATING TO THE SERVICES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND/OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY OR QUALITY OF DATA AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SUITABILITY, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, LACK OF VIRUSES OR CORRESPONDENCE TO DESCRIPTION.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.

13-3. The Company promises to exercise the utmost care and attention regarding its security measures for the continued security of any and all User information.
