NAVER Antivirus does not collect and use personal information, but we disclose the application information we collect for users' right to know as follows.
1. Collected information
- We collect the following information for malware analysis, diagnosis, removal, and identification of dangerous websites.
• Information related to apps installed on the device (app name, package name, hash value, properties, version, etc.)
• Device information (carrier, country and region, device model name, Android OS version, etc.)
• Addresses of visited websites (when using the Safe Browsing feature)
2. Use of collected information
- It is used only for malware analysis, diagnosis, and removal, and is not used for personal identification.
- If it is necessary to collect unique identification values from device information,the Company will encrypt the original values in an unrecognizable manner before collecting them to remove their identifiability.
- The collected information is securely encrypted and transmitted to the NAVER Antivirus log server.
