The “LINE CALL” event is sponsored by LINE Euro-Americas Corporation (hereinafter “the Company”), a Delaware corporation having its principal place of business at 5750 Wilshire Blvd Ste. 640, Los Angeles, California 90036 and governed by these official rules. By participating in the event, each participant agrees to these official rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the event are final in all respects. The event is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
ELIGIBILITY: Participants must have the LINE App (later than version 4.4), connection to the Internet, an Android or iOS smartphone capable of making LINE Calls, and an e-mail account to enter this event. All participants must be a resident of the United States and legal age in the jurisdiction of residence on the date of entry. Void wherever restricted or prohibited by law. The Company reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each winner. User who already purchased "LINE Characters: Burning Emotions" will not receive the prize again. In order to receive the stickers, LINE USA Official Account must not be blocked.
EVENT PERIOD: This event will run from March 11th, 2015 08:00PM (PST) to March 15th, 2015 11:59PM (PST).
HOW TO APPLY: During the Event Period when a LINE App user completes a LINE Call he or she will receive a sticker set from the LINE USA Official Account. Completing the LINE Call requires the call to be answered by the recipient. The call duration must exceed 1 second.
PRIZE: Each winner will receive the prize within a week from completing a LINE Call. Sticker set rewarded will be subject to change at the company’s sole discretion. Only one prize per winner will be awarded. The prize will be delivered via the LINE App from the LINE USA Official Account. In order to receive the stickers, the LINE USA Official Account must not be blocked.
LIMITATION ON DAMAGES: BY ENTERING THE EVENT, YOU AGREE THAT: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE CONTEST, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, (IF ANY), NOT TO EXCEED $1, BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY PARTICIPANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND PARTICIPANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED $1, AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (4) PARTICIPANT’S REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND PARTICIPANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. ANY DISPUTE WITH REGARD TO THE EVENT OR OFFICIAL RULES WILL BE GOVERNED PRIMARILY UNDER THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF THE DISTRICT COURT OF TOKYO OR THE TOKYO SUMMARY COURT.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING “LINE Call” EVENT:
1. Winners below the legal age in the jurisdiction of residence on the date of entry.
2. Winners who are not a legal residence of United States cannot participate in the event.
3. Winners who are unable to agree to any of the terms and conditions related to this event due to their own circumstances will be disqualified. No compensation will be offered in such situations.
4. This Contest is solely hosted by the Company. Any other brands (“Other Brands”) mentioned in this Contest does not sponsor, endorse, administer by, or in any associated with this Contest. Participants fully release Other Brands from any liability or claims which might arise from their participation in this contest.
OTHER IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. Posts that are against laws and regulations or public order and morality, abusive, or in violation of a third party’s intellectual property rights are prohibited.
2. The Company will not answer any inquiries about the selection process and the winning status of individual participants.
3. Data fees incurred through participation in this event will be at the customers’ own expense.
4. The prize is non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

LINE Call FUNCTION:
The LINE Call function enables LINE users to make free VoIP calls to other LINE users. LINE Call includes both voice and video calls. A completed call is defined as a call that was answered by the recipient.
