LINE MAN Order Cancellation Policy

LINE MAN is committed to providing fast, convenient, and efficient services for all users. Order cancellations may be subject to specific conditions and fees to ensure fairness to merchants, delivery partners, and the platform. The details of the cancellation policy are as follows:

1. Food Order Cancellation

LINE MAN allows users to cancel orders under certain conditions to maintain fairness for merchants and delivery partners.

1.1 Free Cancellation (No Fees)

Users can cancel their order within 8 seconds before confirming the order without any fees.

1.2 Non-Cancellable Orders

Users cannot cancel the order if:

- The 8-second free cancellation period after order confirmation has expired.

- The user has confirmed the order (whichever occurs first).

1.3 Cancellation After the Specified Time

If an order is canceled after 8 seconds after confirming the order or after order confirmation:

- The user must pay the full cost of the food and delivery fee.

- Refunds or payment reversals are not allowed.


2. LINE MAN MART Order Cancellation

LINE MAN MART’s cancellation policy differs from food orders as it involves product handling and delivery.

2.1 Free Cancellation (No Fees)

Users can cancel the order within 8 seconds after confirming the order  without any fees.

2.2 Non-Cancellable Orders

Users cannot cancel the order if:

- The 8-second free cancellation period after order confirmation has expired.

- The user has confirmed the order (whichever occurs first).

2.3 Cancellation After the Specified Time

If an order is canceled after 8  seconds after confirming the order or after order confirmation:

- The user must pay the full cost of the items and delivery fee.

- Refunds or payment reversals are not allowed.


3. LINE MAN Ride Order Cancellation

LINE MAN Ride offers a convenient and safe ride-hailing service. Ride cancellations may be subject to fees to ensure fairness to drivers and the platform.

3.1 Free Cancellation (No Fees)

Users can cancel the ride without any fees under the following conditions:

- The cancellation is made within 2 minutes after booking.

- The driver does not accept the ride within the allocated time, or the system fails to match a driver.

- The driver does not arrive at the pickup location within the specified time.

3.2 Cancellation Fees Apply

Users will be charged a cancellation fee in the following cases:

- Cancellation occurs after 2 minutes from booking.

- Cancellation occurs after the driver has accepted the ride and is en route to the pickup location.

- Cancellation occurs after the driver has arrived at the pickup location.

3.3 General LINE MAN Ride Cancellation Conditions

- If the ride is paid via LINE Pay, credit card, or debit card, the cancellation fee will be charged through the same payment method.

- If the ride is paid in cash, the cancellation fee will be added to the next trip.

- For scheduled rides, users will be charged a cancellation fee if the driver has already been assigned.

- The cancellation fee will be waived automatically if the trip is delayed by more than 10 minutes beyond the estimated arrival time.



4. LINE MAN Messenger Order Cancellation

LINE MAN Messenger provides fast and secure parcel and document delivery services. Due to the nature of delivery operations, the cancellation policy differs from food orders.

4.1 Non-Cancellable Orders After Acceptance

Once the rider has accepted the order, cancellation is not allowed under any circumstances.

4.2 Cancellation Fees Apply

If the user cancels after the rider has accepted the order:

- The user must pay the full delivery fee as per the set rate.

- Refunds or payment reversals are not allowed.


5. Cases Requiring Payment for Delivery and Ordered Items

Users must pay both the delivery fee and the full cost of the items if they cancel an order:

- While the delivery partner is already en route to the destination.

- After the delivery partner has arrived at the destination.

- If the item does not meet the return conditions.


6. Cases Requiring Double Delivery Fees and Payment for Ordered Items

Users must pay double the delivery fee and the full cost of the items if they cancel an order:

- While the delivery partner is already en route to the destination.

- After the delivery partner has arrived at the destination.

- If the item must be returned to the store and cannot be resold.


7. Cases Requiring Double Delivery Fees

Users must pay double the delivery fee if they cancel an order:

- While the delivery partner is already en route to the destination.

- After the delivery partner has arrived at the destination.

- If the item must be returned to the store and can still be resold.


8. Policy Updates

LINE MAN reserves the right to modify this policy as necessary. Users will be notified in advance through the platform and/or other communication channels as determined by LINE MAN.
