To support the LINE Pay service as well as LINE Pay’s One-Time Payment Service, and whether or not such services are account based (the “Service”) provided by LINE Pay Corporation and affiliated companies in various countries (“LINE Pay”), LY Corporation (“LYC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) has adopted this Addendum to LYC’s Privacy Policy to explain our handling of the additional information obtained, used, or shared by LYC. This Addendum supplements the provisions of LYC’s Privacy Policies, which remain in effect and apply equally to the additional items of information described in this Addendum.
Information Shared by LYC to LINE Pay
In order to provide and facilitate our Service, to provide customer support, and to prevent unauthorized use of our Service, LYC may share customer profile information (includes only username, icon image, status message, and internal user ID supplied by LYC), friend information, email address, telephone number, registration status and its registration dates, country information, withdrawal dates, account status, LINE version in use, and device information. When you use the Services without a LINE Pay account (including by using the One-Time Payment Service), limited customer profile information (internal user ID) and your telephone number(s) are shared by LYC for the aforementioned purposes.
When you submit a correction request to LYC requesting that LYC updates your personal information in our records according to the information submitted, LYC collects such personal information for the purpose of updating our records. LYC also automatically shares such personal information with LINE Pay for the purpose of updating LINE Pay’s records, so as to provide the LINE Pay services and to ensure a seamless user experience.

Changes to the LY Corporation’s User Information Provision Policy
We may amend this Addendum from time to time to reflect changes to the LINE Pay service and relevant law and regulation.
The last time we updated this Addendum was October 1, 2023, and it was initially released on February 9, 2018.
We will let you know when we make any important changes to this Addendum via the LINE App or by other reasonable means.
