Specific Terms for the LINE MAN Ride Service

1. Definition
Unless otherwise specified in these specific terms for the LINE MAN Ride Service, defined terms in the main terms of use shall have the same meanings in these specific terms for the LINE MAN Ride Service.
"Driver" means a driver who is registered with the Company pursuant to the terms and conditions between the Company and the Driver, as specified in the Driver Application Terms and Conditions, in order to provide the LINE MAN Ride Service to the User.
"LINE MAN Ride Service" means the transportation service for passengers whereby the User can hail the Driver to pick up and drop off the User at the destination but shall not include delivery of goods or things.
"Driver Application" means LINE MAN Taxi Application, and/or LINE MAN Driver Application, and/or LINE MAN Rider Application, and/or any other application or the website developed, owned and operated by the Company as a technological platform used as an intermediary for the Driver to manage and provide the LINE MAN Ride service.
In addition to the terms of the main terms of use, the User of the LINE MAN Ride Service agrees to comply with the following terms.
2.1 The Company is merely an information provider and technological operator to facilitate contact and submission of transportation service requests that are sent from customers to the Driver with the function of estimating duration for the pick-up and transportation and providing information to contact the Driver. However, the Company is not a transportation service provider, nor does it provide a service or any act which would be deemed that the Company is a transportation service provider or taxi service provider. The Company is not involved in the transportation service itself and is not responsible for the transportation service. Any transportation service is an independent and direct affair between a customer and the Driver.
2.2 The User shall not use the LINE MAN Ride Service to deliver products or things in any case. If there is an occurrence of issue from the use of the LINE MAN Ride Service to deliver products or things, the Company shall not hold any responsibility in any case and a driver has the right to reject the request.
2.3 The transportation service shall be deemed the Driver's independent provision of service and not the Company's service. When the Driver accepts the User's request for the LINE MAN Ride Service, the User will see the initial information about the Driver, such as license plate number; vehicle color; telephone number; and any rating score (if any). The User considers and accepts transportation services and voluntarily accepts any risk that may arise from the Driver's transportation service on their own. The Company shall not have any duties and responsibilities, whether directly or indirectly, for any damage arising from special circumstances with regard to the Driver's actions and/or omission of services to the customer and/or breach of agreement; and/or wrongful act as committed by the Driver, such as loss of or damage to the User's luggage or property, the Driver's delay or misconduct in providing the service, any damage or trouble with the vehicle or taxi, or missing important events, meetings, or flights due to a delay in services. The User agrees not to make any claim against the Company.
2.4 The User agrees that the Company can proceed with the following action at any time, without notifying users in advance: (1) change, modify, suspend, or terminate or grant access to LINE MAN Ride Service on the LINE MAN application or any part of the LINE MAN Application (including access to a User's account and/or the availability of any product or service) for any reason; (2) change, modify, suspend, or terminate these Terms, or any related terms and conditions; (3) suspend LINE MAN Ride Service on the LINE MAN Application or any part of the LINE MAN Application (including access to a User's account and/or the availability of any product or service) as necessary to perform routine or non-routine maintenance, correcting errors or any other changes as the Company deems appropriate.
2.5 In the event that the User commits a fraud or violates the Master Terms of Service, or these Terms or contracts or any terms and conditions of the Company or any other related laws and regulations, including but not limited to insulting the Company and/or its affiliates or causing damage to the brand, reputation or business of the Company and/or its affiliates as the Company deems appropriate, the Company shall be entitled to immediately terminate the User's request to use the LINE MAN Ride Service and suspend the User from using the Company's LINE MAN Application, without prior notice. In such case, the Company may, at its sole discretion, suspend the User's use of the new LINE MAN RIDE Service without prior notice and without specifying the reasons for such suspension in all cases. However, the exercise of such rights does not prejudice the rights of the Company and/or its affiliates to claim such damages or take legal action against the User, as the Company and/or its affiliates deem appropriate.
2.6 If the Company suspects that the User commit a fraud or violates the Master Terms of Service, or these Terms or contracts or any terms and conditions of the Company or any other related laws or regulations, the Company may suspend the use of LINE MAN Ride Service and/or suspend the User’s account on the LINE MAN Application throughout the period that the Company examine the case immediately without notifying the User in advance. Such suspension the use of LINE MAN Ride Service or the suspension of the User’s account on the LINE MAN Application will be canceled immediately if the Company discover the facts that dispel such suspect. Users shall be responsible for checking whether the User can access LINE MAN Ride Service or User’s account on the LINE MAN Application oneself. The Company is not obliged to notify the User of the cancellation of the suspension of use of the LINE MAN Ride Service and the User's account on the LINE MAN Application in all cases.
3.1 The Company hereby fully denies any involvement with any transportation service for passengers or luggage of the User which is unlawful or carried out illegally in any respect.
3.1 The Company makes no representation, warranty or guarantee as to the reliability, timeliness, quality, suitability, availability, accuracy or completeness of LINE MAN Ride Service. The Company does not represent or warrant that (1) the use of LINE MAN Ride Service will be secure, uninterrupted, free of errors or other harmful components, or operate in combination with any other hardware, software, system or data; (2) any stored or calculated data will be accurate or reliable; or (3) the quality of the services, information or other materials obtained by through LINE MAN Application shall meet User’s requirements or expectations.
When the User presses the button "Book Now" to confirm use of the LINE MAN Ride Service, the system will automatically send the request to the Driver. The purpose of the LINE MAN Ride Service is to facilitate the User in submitting the request and contacting the Driver for passenger transportation services. The LINE MAN Ride Service is a passenger transportation service, not a delivery service.
5.1 The User shall pay the service fee, including the transportation fee, the booking fee or any other fees for using LINE MAN Ride Service, as shown on LINE MAN Application and as shown on the ordinary taxi's meter (in case using LINE MAN Ride Service for Taxi) to the Driver via the Company’s payment channel.
5.2 The User shall be responsible for all road congestion, toll, expressway and/or highway fees.
5.3 The User may pay for the service fee by cash or via E-payment channel or any other methods as adjusted by the Company from time to time upon the completion of the LINE MAN Ride Service.
5.4 The User shall be solely responsible for any expense in communicating with the Driver.
Each time the User uses the LINE MAN Ride Service, the User agrees to comply with the following provisions. If the User fails to comply with any of these provisions, the Driver has the right to reject the request immediately.
6.1 Passengers numbers shall be limited to a maximum of four persons per one vehicle.
6.2 The User is advised to fasten the seat belt every time when using the transportation service. The User agrees to be responsible for any damage or legal fine incurred (if any) arising from the non-compliance thereof.
6.3 The User may carry luggage with a maximum weight of 20 kilograms per piece. The luggage must be of a size and quantity that can fit into a vehicle. The User agrees be responsible and take care of their luggage and things.
6.4 The User shall not smoke or drink any alcoholic beverage in the vehicle. The User agrees to be responsible for any damage or legal fine incurred (if any) arising from the non-compliance thereof.
6.5 The User must not carry, into the vehicle, any weapon, explosive device, or thing or materials that causes danger or risk of danger when traveling.
6.6 The User is asked to keep the vehicle clean and not to conduct any action that will cause damage to the vehicle and equipment in the vehicle. If the vehicle or equipment in the vehicle is damaged, the User shall be responsible for all such damage which occur.
6.7 The User shall not bring food that has a strong smell or things that can cause unwanted smells into the vehicle.
6.8 The User shall not bring any type of animal in the vehicle.
6.9 The User shall not behave in a threatening, intimidating, harassing, disruptive or annoying manner to the Driver while using the service.
6.10 The User shall not contact the Driver or use the Driver's information other than contacting the driver in order to use the service.
7.1 The User may cancel request for transportation services in the following cases: (1) Before the Driver accepts the request for transportation service, press the “Cancel Job” button to immediately cancel the request for transportation service; (2) After the Driver confirms the request for transportation service, by contacting the customer service center to request cancellation of the transportation service request.
7.2 The Driver may cancel the transportation service by the following reasons: (1) The Driver cannot contact the User; (2) The User wants to edit request details, such as editing the pick-up point or destination, etc.; (3) The User wishes to cancel the service by notifying the Driver; (4) The User pinned the pick-up point wrongly, or the User is not found at the pick-up point; (5) The Driver had an accident.
