TERMS AND CONDITONS OF USE FOR DELIVERY SERVICE BY THIRD PARTY PARTNERED WITH SERVICE PROVIDER


1. GENERAL CONDITION

A Purchaser hereby fully acknowledges and agrees that LINE SHOPPING (hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider”) is an owner, a developer, and an operator of the service as a mere platform for supporting and aggregating goods/merchandises in order to facilitate the purchaser to contact and purchase such goods/merchandise from a Seller. Further, the Service Provider does not have any obligation in connection with delivery of the goods/merchandise and/or any other operation in relation to goods/merchandises. In this regard, the Seller will take action on his/her own behalf and the delivery service shall be subject to terms and conditions of use for delivery service by third party proposed by the Seller to the Purchaser. Thus, please keep in mind that when the Purchaser buys the goods/merchandises in LINE SHOPPING, the Purchaser directly purchases such goods/merchandises from the Seller not the Service Provider, and the Service Provider is neither an agent nor an operator of the Seller. For clarity, the Service Provider will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the delivery of the goods/merchandises and/or any action of the Seller in any event.

 

2. DELIVERY SERVICE BY THIRD PARTY

2.1 For the delivery service by a third party, the Purchaser shall carefully read and understand terms and conditions of delivery service by a third party as it might affect your rights and obligations. Should the Purchaser disagree to any terms and conditions for a specific delivery service as selected by you, please do not continue to use such service.

 

2.2 In the event that the Purchaser has chosen on of the delivery methods, it shall be deemed that you have agreed to the terms and conditions of delivery service by the third party immediately, except for the Service Provider states otherwise in these terms.

2.3 Please find terms and conditions of delivery service by third parties as follows:

 

(1) If the Purchaser selects LINE MAN Messenger as a parcel delivery method, the Purchaser must strictly comply with terms and conditions for the delivery service by LINE MAN Messenger to the fullest extent applicable to the usage of this service. Specific Terms


  • - When the Purchaser has selected the LINE MAN Messenger service, the Purchaser needs to carefully recheck whether the Purchaser has specified information or pinned the drop-off address correctly and completely. Further, if the Purchaser wishes to receive the goods/merchandise in a specific area (for example, deliver the product at the village guardhouse), the Purchaser must clearly specify such details as well.

  • - In the event that the Purchaser has specified wrong information or pinned the wrong drop-off address, or does not specify additional details in the delivery of the goods/merchandise which causes the deliveryman to be unable to deliver the goods/merchandise to the Purchaser (and the deliveryman cannot contact the Purchaser thereafter), the Purchaser may not receive the goods/merchandise, and the Purchaser will be solely and fully responsible for all delivery costs incurred. Please note that the Service Provider will not take responsibility in any event.

  • - Please note that the purpose of pinning the drop-off address in the Google Map is to let the Seller and LINE MAN (Thailand) Company Limited acknowledge the accurate drop-off location of delivering goods/merchandises to the Purchaser. In this respect, the location information that the Purchaser has specified will be shared between the Service Provider and Google LLC whereby the Purchaser shall comply with Google Maps terms and conditions of service strictly.

  • - Please note that for the usage of the delivery service by LINE MAN Messenger via LINE SHOPPING service, the Purchaser does not the one calling the deliveryman directly but will be the Seller who calls the deliveryman to pick up the goods/merchandise at the pick-up place as specified by the Seller. The deliveryman shall then deliver it at the drop-off address as the Purchaser notified to the Seller.

  • - The Purchaser realizes and acknowledges that the Seller may or may not be able to call the deliveryman to deliver the purchased goods/merchandise to the Purchaser as wished. In this respect, if the Seller fails to call for the deliveryman, the Seller will be expected to forthwith notify the Purchaser and return the paid delivery fee to the Purchaser respectively unless the Seller and the Purchaser agree otherwise.

  • - The Purchaser acknowledges that the Seller may not be able to call the deliveryman right after the Purchaser has successfully purchased the goods/merchandise and paid the delivery fee. In the event that the Seller calls the deliveryman, and the delivery cost is higher than the fee as previously paid by the Purchaser, the Seller and/or LINE MAN (Thailand) Company Limited (as the case may be) shall be solely responsible for any additional delivery fee incurred in full. Nevertheless, in the event that the Purchaser has given the wrong drop-off address to the Seller, and the Purchaser requests the Seller to deliver the goods/merchandise at the new drop-off address thereafter, the Purchaser shall solely pay the additional delivery costs incurred to the deliveryman in full.

  • - In the event that the goods/merchandises ordered by the Purchaser weigh more than 15 kilograms or have the dimensions exceed 40x40x40 centimeters causing the deliveryman not to deliver the goods or causing additional expenses, if the case stems from the overweight of the parcel, the Seller may cancel such purchase order, and the Purchaser shall place a new purchaser order. In this respect, the Purchaser shall select a new delivery method, and the Seller shall be solely and fully responsible for any additional costs incurred to the Purchaser unless the Seller and the Purchaser mutually agree otherwise.

However, if the case stems from the excessive dimensions, the Seller may cancel such purchase order, and the Purchaser shall place a new purchase order. In this respect, the Purchaser shall select a new delivery method, and if the new delivery service fee is higher, the Purchaser shall solely and fully absorb such additional costs incurred unless the Seller and the Purchaser mutually agree otherwise

  • - In the event that the Seller cancels the purchaser order, the Purchaser will receive a refund in accordance with Refund and Return Policy .

  • - For the good experience in using such service, the Purchaser should contact the Seller directly before choosing this service in order to initially check that the Seller can call the deliveryman immediately or not, or to inquire about other matters in relation to the delivery.

  • - When the Seller can call the deliveryman, the Purchaser will be able to track the delivery status via the ‘Order Details’ section embedded in ‘MY’ page of your LINE SHOPPING account accordingly.

  • - When the Purchaser uses the LINE MAN Messenger service, the Purchaser may not be able to cancel such service unless the Seller agrees otherwise.

  • - In the event that the Purchaser has already used the LINE MAN Messenger service, it is deemed that the Purchaser acknowledges the privacy policy of LINE MAN (Thailand) Company Limited.

(2) If the Purchaser selects Thailand Post as a parcel delivery method, the Purchaser must strictly comply with terms and conditions for the delivery service by Thailand Post to the fullest extent applicable to the usage of this service. Specific Terms


  • - When the Purchaser has selected the Thailand Post service, the Purchaser needs to carefully recheck whether the Purchaser has specified information or pinned the drop-off address correctly and completely.

  • - In the event that the Purchaser has specified wrong information or pinned the wrong drop-off address which causes the deliveryman to be unable to deliver the goods/merchandise to the Purchaser (and the deliveryman cannot contact the Purchaser thereafter), the Purchaser may not receive the goods/merchandise, and the Purchaser will be solely and fully responsible for all delivery costs incurred. Please note that the Service Provider will not take responsibility in any event.

  • - Please note that the purpose of pinning the drop-off address in the Google Map is to let the Seller and Thailand Post Company Limited acknowledge the accurate drop-off location of delivering goods/merchandises to the Purchaser. In this respect, the location information that the Purchaser has specified will be shared between the Service Provider and Google LLC whereby the Purchaser shall comply with Google Maps terms and conditions of service strictly.

  • - In the event that the Purchaser selects Cash on Delivery (COD) as a parcel delivery method, the Purchaser must pay the delivery service fee to the staff of Thailand Post once the goods/merchandise has been received. In this regard, the Purchaser can freely choose the payment method as specified in terms and conditions for Cash on Delivery service method at the Link stated above.

  • - In the event that the Seller cancels the purchaser order, the Purchaser will receive a refund in accordance with Refund and Return Policy .
  • When the Seller proceeds to delivery the parcel, the Purchaser will be able to track the delivery status via the ‘Order Details’ section embedded in ‘MY’ page of your LINE SHOPPING account accordingly.

  • - When the Purchaser uses the Thailand Post service, the Purchaser may not be able to cancel such service unless the Seller agrees otherwise.

  • - In the event that the Purchaser has already used the Thailand Post service, it is deemed that the Purchaser acknowledges the privacy policy of Thailand Post Company Limited.

3. COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE PURCHASER, THE SELLER & THE DELIVERY SERVICE PROVIDER

The Service Provider encourages the Purchaser, the Seller, and the delivery service provider to communicate with each other in the case of any problem of delivery. Since the Service Provider is only a ‘platform service provider’ for the Seller to offer of sale of the goods/merchandises, the Purchaser should directly contact the Seller and/or the delivery service provider if there is any problem in relation to the delivery of the product being purchased.
